Ghulkin Students Association

It dates back to 1960s and 70s, when the poineers of Literate and Educated Ghulkin(Ghulkin is a small, most beautiful village of Hunza, Gojal Northern Areas of Pakistan) , moved to Karachi in order to have a sound future for themselves and their future coming generation. Those students had a motto, "Literate and Educated Ghulkin" in their minds. They struggled their level best to achieve the utmost level in education, for they knew that it is only through proper education that one can bring a revolutionary change in any society.

The early Karachites were God-gifted creatures, who worked with dedication and love for the welfare of students coming to Karachi for a better future, in their minds. Karachi, the biggest city of Pakistan is the home of a diverse society, home of both rich and poor. New coming students find it really difficult to adjust themselves in this strange but interesting environment. In order to help these guys, the poineers had contributed them the assistance to the level best.

This fine tradition of the early Ghulkin students passed to the next generations and it is continous till today, by the grace of God and by the blessings of Imamzaman. With the passage of time, need was felt to bring the students under one platform. It was in August 14, 1997, when GSA (Ghulkin Students Association), was formally given the status of a student organisation for the welfare of Ghulkin Students. It is a registered body working under the prestigious Ghulkin Welfare and Nature Conservation Society, which is registered with government of Pakistan.

GSA has only one objective, the welfare of Ghulkin students residing anywhere in Pakistan. With its wonderful, unprecedented and imminent performance, it serves as an example for other student bodies. GSA has a sound root and a firm stem that gives it stamina to work for years and years. GSA provides relevant information about institutions, admissions, etc. Besides educational, GSA also assists students find shelters and jobs for the continuity of education. Recreational activities including sports, picnics, musical programs etc. add beauty to this body.

With the celebration of the Decade Ceremony of GSA on August 14, 2007, the need was felt to broaden the scope of GSA to other cities of Pakistan in general and the world in particular. GSA is now a student body of Pakistan and it has started working for maintaining the unity among Ghulkin students universally.( we hope Ghulkin students to be in space or any planet)

The views and ideas for the betterment of this body will highly be appreciated. It is an association of Ghulkin students and the contribution of only Ghulkin students can make this body the best. We can contribute only and lonely through our dedicated efforts, no matter what we are doing, we must put our best effort and knowledge to make our work great. Our motto, "Literate and Educated Ghulkin".
